Recruiting is a shared responsibility. We provide guidance and support, but players must take ownership of their journey.

Pathways to Playing College Baseball

College baseball is highly competitive at all levels. Finding the right fit (academically, athletically, and personally) is more important than chasing a specific division.

NCAA Division I
Highest competitive level
  • Year-round commitment (~20+ hours/week)
  • Limited scholarships (11.7 per team, often split)

Best Fit:

Top-tier athletes with elite tools

NCAA Division II
Strong competition with more balance
  • Partial scholarships (9 per team)
  • Competitive but slightly less intense than D1

Best Fit:

Strong, consistent performers

NCAA Division III
Emphasis on academics + competitive baseball
  • No athletic scholarships (academic/need-based aid available)
  • Admissions fit is critical

Best Fit:

Players prioritizing academics and baseball

NAIA
Flexible pathway at smaller schools
  • Scholarships vary by program (up to 12 per team)
  • Wide range of competitive levels

Best Fit:

Players seeking opportunity and fit

NJCAA (Junior College)
Two-year development pathway
  • Multiple divisions (I, II, III)
  • Immediate playing time often available for freshmen
  • Transfer opportunities to 4-year programs

Best Fit:

Players developing or planning to transfer up
